Director, Writer, Producing Partner

Founder and president of Painted Saint Entertainment, Kathleen Davison established the production company to cull a collective of artists who value high quality content with the power to impact and shift our culture for the better. The projects on the PSE development slate expose lost pieces of American history, balance the gender scales, highlight underrepresented demographics, delve into other dimensions, and encourage meaningful thought.

Kathleen is an award-winning filmmaker (Primrose Lane / Effloresce) with over 63 festival accolades to her credit, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay. She is the recipient of the Silver Telly and Bronze Telly awards for excellence in commercial direction.

Davison’s education includes apprenticeships with Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, Frank Darabont, Glen Morgan, and James Wong. She holds a BA in theater from Penn State University.

Kathleen is a Sundance Fellow and member of The Alliance of Women Directors, Women In Film, GreenLightWomen, Film Independent, SAG-AFTRA and Actors’ Equity.
